Where did you have your E-party?

If you had an E party, where did you have it? If you remember any of the details, such as price and menu ( sit down or buffet) that would help also! At first I wasnt going to have one but We might have to prolong our engagement....we havent even gotten started yet Thanks girls

Don't feel so bad i just booked my eparty last week and I'm not even officially booked at my RH yet....I feel ur pain.

I'm having a simple eparty at E.Rockaway fire house...i set a budget so the whole thing from the $600 hall rental and all the food and booze will not cost more than $2500. I think it'll even be less actually. I don't know where your from but its a feasible option if ur on a budget...HTH! GOOD LUCK!

I was trying to save money, so we had it at my FIL's house-We were lucky because they have a gorgeous home and it was in the summer! We rented a tent and had it catered-it was really nice and not too expensive as compared to having that many people at a hall.

We're still debating if we are even going to have one. His grandmother is pushing the idea, but we rather save our money, even if people are willing to help. If not, we might have dinner catered at some point for just the family, but nothing too fancy. For our friends, we were thinking of doing something at a bar for 2-3 hours (open-bar) and have everyone pay their own way so we all have an excuse to hang out. But one of my friends is doing a dinner at the Inn at New Hyde Park, which is really nice...

We're only going to be engaged 9 and a half months on our wedding day, so we're not having an e-party, No one in either of our families has had one.

Given that we're going to be engaged a relatively short amount of time, we didn't want people to think we're just hitting them up for presents.

Same for me too!! We'll be engaged for less than one year also, so I figure it's not necessary.

We had it at Pompeii in West Hempstead. Great food and great prices. We had passing hour d'oeuvres and a sit down dinner. We were very happy with everything.

it was at my mom's...which you'd think throwing a party at home would be cheaper, but I am not so sure!!!

We had a brunch at Mim's in Roslyn Heights. It was fantastic! We worked with Barbara, and she was a pleasure .... she accomodated all of our requests.

They also have packages for lunches, etc. There's a whole party planning guide on their website with prices that you can print out.
