If you had an E party, where did you have it? If you remember any of the details, such as price and menu ( sit down or buffet) that would help also! At first I wasnt going to have one but We might have to prolong our engagement....we havent even gotten started yet Thanks girls

FILs backyard...we had our EParty on a hot summer day, cooked most of the food and hung out by the pool. It was great!

Our e-party was at my InLaws house. It was this past July. We had it in the backyard. Beautiful weather. Tent, DJ, catered, pool, great time! It was so much fun! I did not want to make it too formal by having it at a catering facility, but it was still very classy in the backyard. Mostly family and close friends only, we did not invite everyone that we invited for the actual wedding. Cost about $1500, but well worth every penny.

Im still not sure if we want to do just a sit down dinner...which would be more relaxing or a full blown party, with a dj and all....I live in Nassau but I am from Oakdale in suffolk...so anywhere on LI would be fine...our family is all over the place. IM so tiredddd....from school and work...I dont know if I even have the energy to plan an E party...but FMIL is willing to help, so why not!!?? I have off from school in January...so guess what ill be doing on my days off....yessss calling all of these places that you all recommended! Thank you so much!!

My RD, however was at Luckuy Duck (my fave!)
My shower was at Nick Diangelo's (Merrick)
My BM Luncheon was at **** & Dora's (Mass.Park)

I almost had my law school graduation party there, but wound up having it at Sutton Place in Long Beach instead.

I had mine in my bro's backyard. My parents' & FIL's backyards were not big enough to have it so my brother offered. [we had about 120 invited and 100 guests that day so we needed a backyard/ house big enough to support it]
We had a couple of sun tents up that i put lights in, had tables set up under them and just patio furniture all around... It was an AMAZING party!!! We definatly went way overboard on the food, had a sh!tload of appetizers and desserts and cant even tell you how many trays we had... It was great! Affordable & intimate, exactly what we wanted!

My E-Party was at Matteo's in Howard Beach. At that time (2004) the cost for 60 people with a sit down family style dinner,bar tab and cake and coffee, it came to almost $4,000

I was trying to save money, so we had it at my FIL's house-We were lucky because they have a gorgeous home and it was in the summer! We rented a tent and had it catered-it was really nice and not too expensive as compared to having that many people at a hall.

we had ours at Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City. Ours was a lunch, and was VERY reasonably priced!
Check out their website, there are a couple of different package options for lunches and dinners....
