Where do you buy invitations to print yourself?

I'm looking to make my engagement party invites...not really make them, just print them.... Where can you buy invites besides michaels?

U can buy them in any party store also. We bought some pretty ones for our STD in Party City. It was a whole kit with responses and receptions cards and everything. You can also try a paper store or even a computer store.

I found great invite paper for our rehearsal dinner at Papyrus in Roosevelt Field.

I know they are also in NYC (in Grand Central) ... not sure where else.

I've been to papyrus....if you dont' mind me asking....generally how much to they run??? I know their cards are expensive. we need around 40-50 invites.

The set I got was 10 pack - VERY high quality decorated cardstock with velum overlay and envelopes for $14.95.

Again, very good quality (the envelopes are thicker than the envelopes of my wedding invites).

Maybe I can scan one ...

staples had an invitation kit... it was the pressed flower paper with vellum overlay and ribbon to attach the two... like $40 for 50 i think...

I got that same staples kit for bridal shower invitations for my sister. At the staples in Freeport it was only $10 for a box of 50!! We think it must have been a mistake, because that is an incredible price.

If you are planning on using velum, I would advise you to use a laser printer and perhaps manually feed the velum into the printer. An inkjet printer will ruin the velum.
