Where does your Engagement Ring go?

Since your Wedding Ring is supposed to be closest to your heart, when actually getting married what are you doing with your Engagement Ring?

Are you putting it on your right hand till after the ceremony or removing it during the ceremony to put on your wedding band and then putting it back on.

I have a right hand claddagh ring that my fiancé gave to me years ago, but I plan to wear my engagement ring on my right hand for the day of the wedding & then switch it to the left hand after the ceremony.

I am wearing mine on my right hand and switching after the ceremony only because it is a little tight on the right hand and I don't want anyone to see me struggle.

Im weird I guess, my e-ring wont fit on my right hand itll get stuck and I wont get it off! So im gonna remove it and put it back on after I put my wedding band on

I just left it on my left hand. I wear my band on the outside because it looks better lol

I thought this is what everyone does! (Well at least during the ceremony then switch it after) I'm not sure if mine will fit on my right hand so I'll prob just have him put it on my left above the engagement ring and then switch it later or something.

Ill probably wear it on my left hand up intill the ceremony then switch it and then after switch it back to my left. Thats if I even remember to do that lol

Where does your Engagement Ring go?

My band is actually two pieces, one for in back of my e-ring and one in front. We just picked up our bands yesterday and have since had discussions withmany family members & friends onhow to do this. FH presents both at alter then I put my e-ring on for recieving line, FH presents only one then I add my e-ring, I wear the back piece and my e-ring and FH presents the last piece to complete the look... I'm leaving my e-ring on my left hand during the ceremony because it simply does not fit on my right hand. I'll switch the e-ring and wedding band after the ceremony.
