Where in Suffolk do u go for your marriage license?
I'm not sure if the one in Patchogue is still there or not?? Thanks

The Patchogue one moved! It's still on Ocean Ave (83), but it's North of the LIE. Take the Bicycle Path exit, make a right, then a left into the new Town Of Brookhaven offices. It's much nicer than the old buildings.

I think it's still there....I don't think they would close Town Hall. If that doesn't work out for you, you can always go to Babylon Town Hall (it's worth a try - I know that is still open).

I'm going to go to the Islip one. How far in advance do you go, and what do you need to bring? Both of you need to go?

both of you need to go, you need to bring your original birth certificates with the raised seal, photo id, and it is valid for 60 days.
Each clerks office is different, so check the link I posted and call. Oh, it's $40 too.

That is where we went yesterday. The town's clerk office is on the first floor right on the right hand side when you walk in the front door.

That's where I got mine! I went to Patchogue first..wasn't there so I had to race to the new location...almost didn't make it before closing time Luckily we were in and out in less than 10 minutes!!
