Where is everyone going to stay on the wedding night?
Original post by kat74
I am trying to decide-- go back to my apartment & save money OR (the preferred idea) Go to a hotel
If you are staying at a hotel-- which one did you choose?
****For those of you that have stayed at the Garden City hotel OR the Inn at Fox Hollow (Bridal Suite) what are your impressions?

I think I want to go back to our place for the night so that I can eventually have a comfortable night's sleep after all of our excitment has died down. I don't sleep well in hotel beds.
same for us

I was thinking about this also this week, how funny See FH and I live together and I feel like I want to stay at a hotel instead of coming home to the everyday. But one side of me says we can save a few hundred dollars and put it towards a room on our honeymoon. But then the other part of me says we are already spending $$$ whats the difference already. CRAZY

We were planning on staying at one of the W Hotels in the city, but since we will be leaving for our Honeymoon the very next morning, we will be staying in a hotel near JFK airport.

I think we are going to go back to our house.
We are doing a major construction project in 07 and plan on having guests back the next day for brunch. It will be great for out of towners to see our newly remodeled house!

Yes! There is a B&B on 25a on the Setauket / Port Jefferson border. I can't think of the name but if you drive down 25 toward Port Jeff it's on the right . There is also a B&B in Port Jeff village near the high school. I'm sorry I don't know names but search bed and breakfast Port jefferson on google and you might get something

4 points sheraton in Plainview, with our oot guests.
nothing fancy there, but it's close to the rh, we'll be with our friends to host a brunch the next morning, and it serves it's purpose.
fh and I looked att a few hotels relatively near our rh, and there really wasn't anything 'beautiful' for our wedding night....so we opted to just stay with friends.
We'll stay in the 'beautiful' room on our honeymoon 4 days later!

In our apartment- Its just not worth a few hundred dollars for a hotel room we'll only be in for a few hours. I spending the $$ for a limo to the honeymoon instead!
