apartment for us in Brooklyn - we're gonna be moving all our stuff one month before the wedding so i can already imagine how fun it's gonna be to plan the last minute details for the wedding while trying to move and get the apartment ready ![]()

FFIL has a rental house in Brooklyn that is he letting us rent for next to nothing. My commute to Westchester every day will be a nightmare but at least we can save more and quicker to buy a house.

Ya I think we are going to get an Appartment in Queens or Bayridge. My FH knows the Market and thinks we should wait for a House.... He thinks the prices will start to come down in the next couple of years

I would really love to buy a house but I don't think FH and I can afford it. We looked a couple of houses on LI this weekend. I don't think we can afford the property taxes on LI!!! I just stressed me out! ![]()
I think we might end up buying a coop in queens. I don't think the house is feasible at the moment.

buying something, wether its a condo or a house...FH and I still live at home and pay no rent, so we should be able to save lots of $$...and I got a raise today so that should help![]()

Yes I understand We can't Do LI so we would have to Do queens or Brooklyn I rather do Queens like Bellrose, Douglouston ... LI is way too much money plus closing cost are alot alot Less on a co-op then a house you would need like 13,000.00 Alone for a house.. its like 3,500.00 on a co - op

a house, we are trying to buy a house before the wedding, if that plan falls through, we both own our own co-op so we will be living in one of the co-ops

We are closing on a house in June!! I'm going to live there right away and FH will move in after we're married - so we'll be living in our house!

We are talking about moving to the Carolina's a yr after the wedding bc it is so damn expensive to live here, but i have been here my whole life, on the same street too and it will be so hard for me to leave, but we might have too.

A house or condo, hopefully in South Jersey. We plan to buy before the wedding in about a year. If not NJ, then a house in Queens.
