I believe that we are going to move to CT (I know, not much better than LI). He works in Danbury and loves his job so I'm not going to ask him to leave to move and I'm currently interviewing for a job in CT (cross your fingers ladies)! But I won't be far!!

Who knows??? Probably an apartment somewhere... after that, we will probably move out of state, unless I hit the lottery, I don't see how we will be able to afford a house on LI... and I refuse to go into debt $500,000 when I could have a nicer house somewhere....

We are buying a house right around the time of the wedding...Its his parents house they are moving to floridia and we are just praying we get a good deal..lol

Ideally we would like a condo in queens not too far away from where I am now. Well see how we are financially by then though

He's moving into my apartment, its a big 2 bedroom in Brooklyn. We would like to save some money after the wedding to buy a house in Brooklyn. Hopefully the market will go down because I haven't seen anything nice in Brooklyn for under $800,000

I seriously doubt the prices will go down in Brooklyn. It's so insane the price of decent houses in not great neighborhoods much less if you go for a nice neighborhood, you won't even get a backyard practically. We're moving to NJ when we're ready to buy even the nice areas in some counties are much cheaper than in Brooklyn or Queens.

The house we just bought in December!!! WE did things a little out of order. Bought the house, then got engaged, and then married. It is expensive though - I agree with everyone. We were looking for a while, and were totally disheartened with the prices of everything.

Probably South Carolina. If the prices go down a little bit on Long Island maybe we will buy a coop.

Considering the amount we are spending on this wedding we are going to be living in a cardboard box, but we would like to try and get a house before the wedding. We are going to start looking this summer.

we'll be returning to the home we bought last summer in Michigan. Houses are way cheaper out there.

we've been hous hunting for a while now. Actually another girl on LIW has been our agent and she is awsome.. FM me if u want her info. But we just hav not foudn what we are looking for. We have time so we are not willing to settle!!!

We're trying for a house... we will be scrimping for a while but it will be worth it if we can get into one.... we've been looking for 6 months... hopefully something will happen soon!.........Most people our age its so hard to afford life here... we are either living with parents, renting in someone's basement or are lucky & have parents to help them start out.... we're all in the same boat!

Another out of order bride like Rachel. We bought the house almost 2 years ago, putting any thoughts of engagement at that time on hold. We just couldn't afford everything at once.
