we are goign to antigua-sandals. they have the hurricane guarantee so that you are protected if there is a hurricane. i wanted an all inclusive place.

Old San Juan Puerto Rico staying@ El Convento...didn't want a resort or all inclusive. We wanted to explore the island!

i'm so excited too! fh's been twice (before we met) and i've been dying to go my entire life. i finally get to!!!

my fh is stationed there right now. has been for almost 8 months. he likes it at times but he is also on the island of okinawa (which is said to be one of the most beautiful beaches- i have seen pics its true). but he has been to main land japan as well.
what made you want to go there on your HM? Just curious. I would love to go but couldn't see spending the $ to fly there and only stay on Okinawa because Fh can't really go to main land Japan often.
i've just always wanted to go there and fh has been wanting to take me since we started dating. i love the culture, art, language, etc. it's very 'us.' we're planning on flying into tokyo and getting a train pass so we can visit as many parts of the country as possible (i'd love to see okinawa too, but we'll have to see if we have the time/$). plus, fmil offered to pay for our honeymoon flights, so we jumped. i feel like i would never get the chance to go again if i don't go now.
we were thinking about italy as well, but to be honest i only wanted to see michelangelo's moses there (sorry, i was an art major and i'm dorky like that) and with the price of the euro being so high we decided to wait a few years on that (hopefully it'll come down) and take a vacation to backpack through europe eventually.

We are getting married Aug. 31st and are going on the 13 day Royal Caribbean Mediterranean cruise. We wanted to go to Australia, but it would be winter there.
