I really don't know where to go! We are working with a travel agent and she has suggested St. Lucia and Turks/Caicos. We saw a show on Costa Rica the other day and thought it looked beautiful, but the travel agent says that its very rustic (not sure if thats good or bad). She also suggested Cancun, but I always associate it with spring break, and I don't want to be hanging out with teenagers and college kids. We don't want to spend the whole day on the beach, but at the same time we want it to be romantic. So I guess we are looking for something inbetween adventurous and romanitc. Any suggestions?

i went to Turks and caicos in 2003 and it was beautiful! Very relaxing and not so much nightlife! terrific if you want to sit on the beach and veg out! Not much touristy stuff except for snorkling( which I highly recommend and you can do right off of the beach!) and Iguana island.

How about the Mexican Rivera? There are tours of historical stuff and the places to stay look utterly romantic. Puerto Rico has the rain forest and the Baccardi tour, old san juan and the forts, among other things. A cruise to different ports of call - plenty of romance & relaxation on the boat and you can choose beach, tour, snorkling, sailing excursions.

We just got back from Belize. AMAZING!!! We spent 4 days in Ambergris Caye and 3 days on the mainland. The place is beautiful and there is so much to do there from snorkling/diving, trips to mayan ruins, cave tubing, fishing, etc. Its sooo beautiful, we just got back tuesday and I haven't had time to upload my pics yet...but definately check it out.

Were doing the Mayan Rivera Not far from Cancun. Were staying at the El Dorado for 5 nights and Secrets Excellence Resort for 5 nights, they both have awesome HM packages and the price was right (around $5,000) for everything.
Tripadvisor also has given both places great reviews!
