Where to buy invites?

Original post by Firkx3

I have no idea where to get invites from. Is it smarter to buy them online and go somewhere to get them. I'm a little nervous about doing it online cause i think I'd like to see them for real before ordering them.

Also, what's the average price for invites? I will need to order about 150.

What are some websites you girls have used and were happy with? Where are some places any of you have ordered invites from?

Since you have a lot of time ahead of you, you may want to order some samples from online websites...invitationsbydawn.com and now-and-forever.com offer free samples (other places charge a fee for smaples)

I'm confused. If your wedding is in one year, why are you thinking about the invitations?

mine's 2 years away and I already am! I'm not a last minute person and love to plan ahead of time. Also, by ordering these samples and being unhappy, I already figured I'm going to do it myself and I probably need these 2 years if you saw what i planned

I'm sure quite a few of us on here are like that :D

costco has really good prices but we got ours from the photographer for 1/2 price. We paid $250 for 125 with return address on envelopes and colored inner envelopes.

I bought mine through Exclusively Weddings.com. You can order samples and choose that way. I ordered the max. amount of samples twice and found the ones I loved. They came super-fast and are REALLY reasonably priced!

The sweet nut hut in deer park was awesome. The woman (Kathy) was so helpful, she really knows her stuff, she even gave us 20% off for mentioning the LIwedding website. The invites are beautiful and just what we wanted, it was a stress free experience!

I got my E-Party invites from the wedding paper divas. www.weddingpaperdivas.com

They were sooooooooooooooo soooo quick!
I just sent the order in today and with in one hour I had a email proof. I made one change and 10 minutes later I had the next proof!!!!!!!!!!!
My E-party invites were actually wedding invited.
I ordered a sample, I did have to pay for it... but they gave me a coupon for $10.00 of my invites!
So it worked out.
