This is what I want... 1 layer, thin satin around the edge. So how do I know if it is soft?
THats exactly what I want too. I tried on a dress last Thursday and the consultant put on a veil like that on me. I was at East West Bridal-20 Enterprise Avenue, Secuacus NJ

It's funny because at first I thought I wanted a veil that had all rindstones on it and what not that sparkled...and then when my dress came in I tried on veils. Well, the veils that I Thougth I wanted were too much (not price) and took away from the beauty of the dress. So I finially narrowed it down. A simple satin ribbon-1 tier veil. It looked beautiful on!!! But..it was $199! Nah ain't happening...ha-ha.

Re: Where to get a veil?
I bought my veil online. I went to the store and picked out which one i wanted (it was a Bel Aire veil) and i found it online for about $40+ plus tax less...even after i paid for shipping.
The site i used was bestbridalprices . com
They guarantee their stuff and I couldnt be happier with my veil. Its a two-tier elbow length with rhinestone beading around the edges. It retailed in the salon for about $210 plus tax.
