Where to get big foam letters for floral monograms?

I want to make a pair of those big flower-covered monograms to hang on the door of the venue. But where to get the letters? I found one place online that I think is really a signmaker's, that could make them in a choice of fonts for $25 and up each letter, depending on size. That's a bit more than I wanted to pay! I've seen small ones for less than $5, but they're only about a foot tall, not big enough. Any ideas? I've heard that florists will charge an arm and a leg for them, but I'm happy to do silks, they're just for the door. Or do I have to get a sheet of foam and cut it out myself? That would be a lot cheaper, but what a pain!

There's a post on Weddingbee that shows you how to make moss-covered ones by cutting the letters out of foam sheets. I'd really rather buy the letters! But, I guess if I'm covering them with silk flowers, the letters don't have to look perfect.

I'm going to keep looking! If I can't find anything pre-made for $10 or less, I'll try the foam sheets.

Thanks, I saw those, but they'd need to be 24' or 30' for them to look good, don't you think?

I just sent a message to a seller on eBay whose eBay store sells foam letters up to 16' to ask if he has larger ones, and to suggest that if he lists them in the wedding accessories area, he'd probably sell a lot of letters!

The eBay guy wrote back to me already and said that his limit is 22' letters, but that would work, I measured it out on a door and it looks fine. He's going to figure out a quote for me. He asked if I'd send him pictures when I'm finished, which I'd be happy to. He could probably start a new sideline in wedding monograms. It's not the sort of thing a guy thinks of.
