Before the wedding, I need to get my e-ring dipped since its white gold. I live near Babylon-- anyone know of any place close? Also does anyone know how long it takes to get it done? Thanx

I got mine done at Tri-County upstairs in the jewelry area. It took about a 1/2 hour.

Most places charge $40 I think. FH got a plan when he bought my ERing that includes it for life. I just have to take it in every 6 months for maintenance, make sure the stone is tight. So its free. If you didnt get that then it will probably be $40 and you can go to any jewelry store.

Most jewelry stores can do it. It costs around $40 (one store charged me almost $60 ...so make sure you get prices first). FH took mine to the Attias Flea Market once and had a guy there do it (he only charged us $20) and it came out perfect.

Same here.....depending on where your FH purchased it from you may have a lifetime guarantee. I know i have to have mine inspected also. I want to get my ring dipped as well...just dont want to give it up.

How long did it take?
Some of the vendors at Attias will tell you they can do it but they try to make you leave the ring with them...I would not trust anyone there that doesn't allow you to watch them the entire time. There's a booth there called EuroGold or something like that... you can watch him the whole time. It only takes like 15 mins.
