ok i LOVE checkerboard and simply encore but I know they can get pricey....any suggestions on where to go??
I am willing to look at other things other than those makers.....
any suggestions? We want to go to a place not order online though

we got ours at the Wedding Center in Commack. They have a ton of books from many different companies. they also have a geat deal - if you get your tuxes there, they take $200 off the invitation proce...good luck!

We went to Party City - they take 30% of all invitations, and had a pretty large selection.

We went to a printing place on Merrick Road in Bellmore. Perfection Printing 516 221.4100. They give 20% off. Tom is the owner that helped us. They are open until 1 on Saturdays. Very helpful!
ETA: My dental hygenist recomended them to me

I went to Posh Papers in Huntington and I got Checkerboard invitations- they were still expensive but it was the best price I got for them after checking around 4 or 5 places.

I got fmine rom a woman named Joan Greenlaw - she works out of her home, and lets you take the books home with you to look over.
Some other girls on this forum have used her. Do a search. her number is 516- 775-1594 - She is Floral Park.
