where to honeymoon in october

So apperntly October is huricane season,. Anyone know a good place to go our honeymoon... I want somewhere tropical and warm.. We are looking into hawaii but its so expensive since there isnt all inclusive there... HELP

We are doing St Marteen in Nov....I like the fact that it's 2 completely different countries in one and you can take katamaran (sp?) to other islands. LOTS to do there.

We are going to Riviera Maya in Mexico. Our travel agent said that October is the end of the hurricane season and that Riveria Maya is a pretty safe bet.

My close friend went to St Lucia Sandals with hurcaine insurance. They were hit and lost two days of their 10 day honeymoon. Because of the insurance they were able to stay at any Sandals free for the same 10 days the following year. They only paid for air fair and ended up with a 2nd honeymoon to celebrate 1 year of marriage. They were also able to use it at Sandals Antigua.

below the hurricane belt (i.e. aruba) or the south pacific. i read that there's something about hawaii's geography makes it less vulnerable to hurricanes, so that's a good option. GL!

Liberty travel advised Aruba is safest place for us as far as weather goes. You would be at end of Hurrican belt & have no issues.
