Where to stay near Cooperstown in the fall?

We want to go upstate in the fall near Cooperstown. Does anybody know a nice place to stay?

Saratoga springs its beautiful.. I think its about an hour away from Cooperstown.

There is this really cute lodge in onentia (SP?)

it is christophers lodge.

If you want to stay in Oneonta Christophers is wonderful..............It is also a nice resturant.........There is also a Holiday Inn and a Super 8 in Oneont as well..........The soccer hall of fame is in Oneonta and I think it is less than a 30 minute ride to Cooperstown...........just watvh that it is not a special college weekend since Oneonta is a college town.............
