i was wondering where i should have pictures taken- i looked at old westbury gardens but i know its gorgous & everything - i just dont feel like spending $500 on pictures! I'm getting married at CLM- i was thinking about the beach near CLM! My only problem with old westbury gardens- does it really take an hour 1/2 with the pictures- i dont have that much time probably an hour so i thought either the beach or a nice park but also wanted to do a garen where they have flowers- ahh maybe i will just end up doing OWG!

In Babylon, right on Montauk Hwy (10 mins max from CLM) there is this beautiful park... Argyle Park. There are weddings taking pics there ALL THE TIME! Even if you ask Nick or Lou at CLM they'll tell you the same thing... to go there. And I'm pretty sure it costs you nothing!! HTH

FYI.. argyle park is nasty... no matter what people tell you.. the chances of duck poop on your dress are HIGH and people can tell you oh i went and it was fine.. I go 2x a week ..walk the entire park and its not a nice place to take pics.. there are nice places in amittyville about 10-15 mintues from the clm.. if you want the names.. or just at the CLM alone.. NYBRIDE has amazing pics.. look her up.

I just took pics on the pier and the dock. I also took pics at Holtsville Ecology Center out East but we just used the gazebo so I should have just done everything at CLM. Take a look at my pics in my review.
