Jones Beach, sunset, the only day in November it was 80 degrees last year.

DH took me to Battery Park because when 9/11 happened he ran for his life and ended up in Battery Park.

He got down on one knee and said this is where he thought his life was over and now this is where he wants the rest of his life to begin. It was so emotional and touching.

OMG! Your's is one of the best stories that I have heard!

Dec. 3 2004. I came home from work because FI called and said that he left work early because he was sick. When I opened the door to our apartment, he was down on one knee, soft music was playing, rose petals all over, 2 dozen roses, 100 candles lit, and a bottle of wine open. I was in shock and didn't know what to do, he was trying to talk and all I could say is what do I do with my stuff! (I had all of my work stuff in my hands) Needless to say I dropped it by the door! And the next morning it was still right where I dropped it! LOL

October 26, 2003 In Disney, by the boardwalk. He got down on one knee by the gazebo in front of the water facing Epcot, after I said yes the fireworks went off in the distance in Epcot.

Seabra's Armory in Perth Amboy, where we had our first 'date'...I invited him to my work Christmas Party on behalf of my boss (who is DH's cousin) and then we started dating...he took me back their and proposed on the pier

On our 2 year anniversary outside of the school where me and FH first met...he played 'our song' in the background and somehow managed to totally surprise me.

At the Montauk Manor on Friday, October 29, 2004. We have been going there every year at the end of October or beginning of November since we met. He had is all planned really nicely and once I said yes, we went to the front desk where they had roses waiting for me.

At the River Cafe...for dessert the Maitre 'd moved us to a table under the bridge and judging from fi's nervous tremble I knew this was going to be it...he got down on both knees and made me the happiest!

At Jones Beach on 8/15/03... The day after our 4 year anniversary (and the day after the blackout). It was supposed to happen at Rockefellar Center... but the city was closed :-P

He had a week of gifts leading up to it, and each day there was a card that said 'This is for our first year together... our second year... etc.'

I got the first 4 Harry Potter books in hardcover, then 3 boxes of Godiva Chocolate, and 2 Teddy Bears. He left them in my car at night and they were waiting for me the next day when I went to leave for work.

On the beach during our vacation at the Outer Banks in NC. We rented a house with 4 other couples. We got there on Saturday kinda late. On Sunday he asked me if I wanted to go for a walk on the beach, but the weather wasn't so great so I said no. Then we went for a walk Monday afternoon. We were walking for a really long time (he was looking for a spot where there were no people.) Finally I said let's turn back and he said he had to do something first. I turned aroud & he was on his knee. Everyone back at the house knew what was happening so they had champagne waiting for us by the pool with Frank Sinatra on the stereo. It was perfect.
