Where would you rather go...

for your honeymoon? Hawaii or Italy? (for 10-14 days)

Although I would LOVE to go to both, I chose Hawaii for a honeymoon. I want something relaxing after the wedding planning...personally, I want to sit my a$$ on a beach and relax rather than sight see and think!! JMO!

I am dying to go to Italy, but Hawaii is pretty relaxing...hard to compare the 2, such differnet types of trips...

I would probably say Italy. if you're beachy people you can spend a few days on the Amalfi Coast. That's what FH really wanted to do, but the time of year wasn't right. Hopefully we'll be going next year.

hmm, those were two of our considerations, but we coudln't sepnd 14 days away from work, & didn't have that much $ to spend, so we opted for a 7 day carribean cruise.

We were leaning towards hawaii out of those two, b/c it is more relaxing, but really if you want to island hope, it is just as much running around as Italy. Would you be in just one part of Italy?

I think I'd vote for Italy, b/c of the shorter flight.

Well, either way, we're going to have to stop in San Diego to have a small ceremony and reception for my family here who can't make it. Thus, I thought Hawaii would be much easier since San Diego is on the way. But, FI wants to go to Italy. I would love to go too (though I've been once before), but I was hoping for something more relaxing. He says he would rather explore than sit on the beach all day. Of course, there's lots to explore in Hawaii too, and plenty of beach in Italy. :o)

Italy is fantastic (been there x2). But there's so much to see and I was on my feet literally 16 hrs per day. Hawaii will be so much more relaxing which is what I need after all this planning.

I would love to go to Italy!! That is my dream vacation. Hopefully we will go there for our 1 year anniversary

I wanted to go to Europe on my HM, but its too cold in November. And we decided we wanted something more relaxing. Europe will be our trip for our 1 year anniversary and we will do 10 days in Hawaii for our HM, so excite!!

I would do Hawaii.. I've heard that Italy is extremely hot in the summer time don't know too much about Hawaii, but Im assuming you'd have the ocean breeze.. it seems to be more of a relaxing place
