well i used to take the bus/train home from my HS and we transfered from the train to the bus at Queens Center Mall. So my friends and I decided to go in the mall and FH happened to know one of the people we were with.... he claims that he tried to talk to me and i was being shy (honestly i dont remember that) but we got in contact with each other through the mutual friend and the rest is history!

I have actually known FH for 15 years.
One of my hs boyfriends was on the bowling team. I always used to go there to watch the matches. FH was worked there. He was friends with a few of my guy friends. Through me going down there, we became friends.
Three years ago we realized that we had feelings for each other and the rest is history ...
Ironically, his mom said about 10 yrs ago that we would get together. we laughed at her but I guess mom was right after all!

FH and I went to the same college but never 'met'. Two years later, we are both part of a hip-hop forum... some d*ck i had shared my picture with created a post 'exposing' me... i was devastated, i had seen chicks (no matter how pretty) get roasted by the forum dudes over their looks... everyone is a thug on ther innanet so he sends me a message telling me that the knows me. And im ready to snub him b/c a bunch of other guys tried to get at me. But then, he told me what school i went to and i started freaking out. I thought he was some stalker...
To make a long story short... he ended up being that cutie i used to bump into in the hall between periods. We talked on aim for like a month before we arranged to meet... and we've been together ever since.
I say... it was soooo meant to be!!!

we met in college. my roommate and bf was a chemistry major and so was FH. organic chem hw was hard, so they spent many hours in our apt working on hw together and for some reason i just had to do my music theory hw sitting at the same kitchen table, even though i had been doing it by my computer for 3 yrs prior to that. eventually, we stopped doing hw and just ended up talking for hours and 5 yrs later, the rest is history!

We met working at a summer camp together almost 10 years ago! I thought he was cute but he became good friends with my brother. He came to my Sweet 16 (that's how young I was!!) that summer but then left for college A few months later we decided to start dating and have been together ever since!

We met at a bar on my birthday. He walked in and I thought he was so cute. So, I sent a friend over to get him (turns out drinking make me nervy hehe). We started talking and the rest was history.

we met.... IN THE LAB. Yep, that's right. And true to the form of oblivious scientists, we didn't really take notice of each other for about 6 months, despite working in the same room all that time....
We weren't inately attracted to each other physically, our connection is much more with our personalities and intellect... so nothing instantaneous happened.
We both joke that we'd be single till death if it weren't for us meeting in the lab....

This is a funny one because a mutual friend (someone I have known for over 20 years) worked at a pizza shop near where FH lives. She met FH and decided to set him up on a blind date with me. She called me up and I said okay as long as it's a group there I'm okay with it. So she called him (she wouldn't even give me his number or vice versa) and set things up. The day we met he had gone fishing with his friends and the mutual friend of ours kept calling the two of us so much that we both told her that if she called either one of us just once more, that we'd call the blind date off. Needless to say since we're getting married she didn't call either one of us and honestly it was love at first sight for both of us.

I took a job at a Genovese I never applied for, but I needed the extra money (I was a poor college student). FH was the stock guy, but I thought he was a manager and he wouldn't talk to me for months!
lol, that's similar to how I met my FH! I worked at Toys'R'Us of all places as a cashier one summer during college, and FH worked stocking the shelves and helping customers. He didn't talk to me the whole summer though because he was too nervous that I wouldn't like him! The only times he did talk to me was when I made announcements through the store intercom that needed a price check for a customer. Then he would drop whatever he was doing no matter where he was in the building and come running up to my register to help me! It was really sweet! It wasn't until after I quit and went back to college that we started to talk to each other online and then eventually started dating.

We met in high school during my freshman year. My best friend had a crush on him & she put me in charge of playing matchmaker! Well, they didn't work out at all, but I became friends with FH. We tried dating & it lasted a month. I told him that he was great as a friend, but that I could never date him long-term because he just wasn't right for me (boy was I clueless!).
We became best friends after that, & I got back together with an ex. He broke my heart a few months later. FH told me he loved me a few weeks later & I realized I loved him too. We've been together ever since. So now, I am quite literally marrying my best friend
