Even though FH and I lived two blocks away from each other our entire lives, attended the same middle and high school, and hanged out in the same spots, we did not meet until the summer after I graduated HS. I vaguely remember seeing him with a group of guys at a graduation party and he might have met up with a group with my group of friends at the pool hall. But we really actually made introductions at Empress Diner in East Meadow when I was on a double date that was not going that well, the guys were friends with FH and called him to eat with us. Once there, FH talked to me more than my 'date' and when I went out for a smoke (quit 2 years/4 months!) FH came with me even though he did not smoke. Outside the diner, we made plans to see a movie later that week. We dated for a few months but when I started college we went our separate ways. We kept in touch for 4 years, because he kept calling!!! I thought he was so annoying and gross! We saw each every once in a while, but I was so mean to him. Until one day, 3 years ago I missed him-strangely and randomly, SO I Called him and now we are forever best friends. I guess, I grew up and realized he was the 'nice guy' i kept saying I wanted while dating losers. I am really lucky he did not meet someone else or that he does not hate me and that I got this second chance!

My FH and I met threw a friend. I was trying to set them back up because they dated threw high school and she still had a ton of feelings for him but we fell for each other instead. It worked out for the best. I am so glad it worked out the way it did. I couldn't be happier. I love him dearly and I can't see myself with anyone else but him.

I chose Other, we met at work!! It was his first day and he was being introduced to everyone, when I turned around and looked up to say hello our eyes met and that was it!!
Our story is quite similiar. FH and I also met at work..except I was the new person ..he took me up to the bathroom and made a silly little joke...and I had just fallen for him..however, I was dating someone...but you guessed it...Im no longer with him and now Im with the man of my dreams.

My friends dragged me to karoke, i reluctantly went. As we got up to the door this tall handsome man smiled at us and opened the door..Yup that was him he grabbed my attention immediately (it was his smile)..We didn't see each other for the rest of the night because he worked as a bouncer there. So, its time to go home and as my friends and I are leaving out the door he interupts with 'excuse me miss, that was a nice song you sang you have a lovely voice' i replied 'thank you, are you single' and the rest is history as they say....
