WE met a bar. He grabbed my a$$ on the dance floor. Yup. Classy. But as a previous poster said, drinking made her nervy...drinking made me lose my self respect. Nice story to tell my daughters! LOL That's okay...it all worked out!

fh and i met 4 years ago online.I imed him and we have been inseperable ever since.

College. We had a class together and some of the same friends. Actually I couldn't stand him at first, but once I got to know him, I changed my mind.

On my 21st b-day I met up with a former college roommate of mine who was living in a different dorm, and she had new dorm friends - FH was one of them. I was wasted, barely remember being introduced to him. A month later same old roomy asks me to come out w/ her gang. I start talking to FH, thought he was funny, but was not attracted to him in the least. I was praying that he wouldn't try to put the moves on me b/c it would then be awkward. He offered his phone (in his room) to call a cab to get back to my campus, which I should have seen as an obvious ploy just to get me in his room... he did kiss me and it was instant chemistry - and over 8 yrs later we're planning our wedding! Don't get me wrong, we've been through our share of drama, but we're both so ecstatic that we're finally tying the knot!

We met at work. I actually used to be his boss, but we didn't start dating until after he left the office. 3 yrs later, here we are getting married, deeply in love, and I'm still the boss.

We met in HS. We were both on the robotics team. I didn't like him at first because I thought he was too dorky. After we both graduated, we started talking online for a few months and then decided to hang out just to catch up and we ended up hitting it off.

I met my FH on the internet also. It isn't a dating site any more but it was when we met.... excite.com. Now their dating site is match.com.

We were at a mutual friends b-day party. . . my friend at the time knew he was single and thought we might hit it off so she introduced us. He had wanted to approch me but thought I was still in high school or maybe middle school! yeah, I look so young

We met through my friend Eric. Eric started playing softball on FH's team. So we knew eachother for a few years before we started dating.

FH & I met at work. He was working late & my supervisor put me on his team to work on a special project.... That was 8 years ago

In unoriginal fashion (these days), we met via the internet. We met not once but TWICE so we knew it was meant to be!!!!!

The first time was about 4 years ago. We were introduced on Jdate. I have no idea who contacted who. We went out on several dates but unfortunately we were unsuccesful and we went our separate ways.

Its kinda sad but my FH is petrfied of dogs and at that time I was living with my parents and 2 golden retrievers, one was 13 and the other 1. He came over to my house one day and the dogs scared the wits out of him, he broke up with me days later and I was devasted.

A year and a half ago, we were paired up again this time on Eharmony. I contacted him since I had always felt that he was the 'one that got away.' I told him I was still at home and my parents still had a dog.

This time it obviously clicked and he's even getting over his fear for me! I've even convinced him that in the future we can get a small dog.

He would never admit some of this and tells me he'd kill me if I ever contacted one of the sites.
