Are most people staying in a hotel/honeymoon suite type thing, or are people going back home? What hotels have nice suites in Suffolk County?

We're staying at the Marriot in Islandia. But honestly, there suites are nice, but not anything that special. It really just isn't that important to me. I know that sounds werid, but we are having a lot of out of towners & they gave us a great nightly rate(& the hotel itself is beautiful). Also, our reception ends at 11:30PM & now we are having an after party at the hotel(with hotel guests) & I plan on having breakfast with everyone the next morning, so if you think about it we'll be lucky if we are in the room for 6 hours! I do NOT suggest the Sheraton! My aunt delivers papers & saw unwanted 'guests' there on more than one occassion!

YAY! Thanks Kathy. We got a quick peek at it. It's really nice. I'm soo excited!
We actually plan on going out on the town after the reception. It ends at 11 & most of Danfords is booked with family & friends. So, we plan on continuing the party! We also leave for the HM the next morning & aren't able to do brunch. I don't know how much of the suite we will actually get to enjoy. It's okay thought that's what the HM is for! WOO HOO

We are most likely staying at a regular room at the Inn at EastWind. It's so convenient because we are getting married at the Estate.

We stayed at the Essex House in Manhatten....(where we got engaged). The following day we went home and then on Monday, we left for Hawaii.
It seems like yesterday....

We booked a regular room at the Garden City Hotel. I couldn't believe how expensive the wedding night package was .
