Who saw last night's episode? Thoughts? Theories? Questions? I wanna know! I thought it was great. I understand why they are going in the direction that they are going in (the two 'realities') and I'm glad they didn't just erase everything these guys have gone through!

haha, i feel like i'm the only one who isn't theorizing that is a lost fanatic. i know i'm not going to guess the answers, so i just wait in amazement
Haha I'm always wrong anyway, but I wanna know!
I think I just lost hope on guessing I didn't even think of the 'nothing is irreversable line' until you ladies brought it up! You are all SO SMART!!!
Haha, or just as crazy as the Lost writers! But this is why I love theorizing, because then someone will come to me with a crazy new idea and I think 'Hmmmm you may be onto something!!'
Like FH for instance. In Season 4 or maybe 5, there's the episode where Jack gets called to visit his grandfather who was trying to break out of the nursing home he was living in. At this time, they're all in the 1970s. FH speculated that Jack's grandfather is actually Jack himself from the 1970s Dharma island. After last night's episode, I don't think he's right, but it was a great theory!

i don't think Sayid is Jacob bc when the man in black took over Locke's body, he was able to be Locke while Locke was still lying on teh ground,
here, it looks like something has taken control of Sayid's actual body, not just mimicked his appearance

This is true. And the fact that he did have memory loss (much like Ben did when he was healed at the temple) after the whole incident. And I don't think Ben was taken over by anyone else.
I felt really bad for John Locke, too, when Smokey was talking about his final thought when Ben killed him. 'I don't understand.' and he said 'Isn't that the saddest thing you ever heard?' It was really sad! Poor Locke! I want him to come back and lay the smackdown on FLocke!!
Anywho, I'm heading home ladies, you'll have to speculate without me.

This is what I think. Jacob and the other guy (The one who told him he really wants to kill him) represent God and the Devil. Jacob being God and the other guy being the Devil. The other guy can take the form of any dead person (ie Locke) and kill people and he is the black smoke. He also took the form of Christian (Jack's Dad).

That's exactly it!
I think Jacob didn't possess anyone's body because he wasn't dead yet...I don't think he had that ability before and definitely think he is in Sayid's body.

I definitely agree with this. God and Devil or maybe something more like Cain and Abel? They just felt like brothers to me.
