Which Banks do you prefer???

Now that the big day is on it's way FH & I have decided to merge our $$$$$$$$$$. What banks do you ladies reccomend or not reccomend?

We LOVE Commerce. They are the best ever. We've had our accounts with them for two years and the people are amazing and customer service is amazing, you just can't go wrong with them.

We HATED Washington Mutual, they gave us so many problems, I am anal retentive about my banking and they were so MEAN to us. Finally we closed that account and moved over to Commerce and it was the best choice.

We do have an investment account with TD Ameritrade or whatever they are called now. DH used to work for them, so we have stock and a CD through them.

i had an account with hsbc and had a problem. washington mutual gave us a problem chaning my name over. i had the offical license and my id wasn't changed yet. we're with commerce. we love it. dh likes it since everytime we go there, we get something. he likes the free stuff

We use Bank of America for checking - they are pretty good. And we using ING Direct for savings. You can link any checking account to your ING. ING just went up to 4.35 and they have a great interface its really easy to bank online with them. I highly recommend ING.

If you open up an ING account with a referral you get a $25 dollar bonus. FM me with your email address and I can send you a referral.

My favorite is Washington Mutual absolutely hate Roslyn or NY Community bank as it's called. I had an account at North Fork and they werent bad but Washington Mutual is definetly my favorite.

Love Commerce. I switched to them from Washington Mutual because I was tired of paying for gold checking every month for nothing extra.

In the past I had HSBC. I hated them. Very high fees for everything and it felt like every month I had a bunch of fees. To hell with that.

I'm a big fan of Commerce as well. Their hours are great and the people there are so nice (I got stuck there in a t-storm once and one of the tellers went to the back to find a huge umbrella to walk us all out to our cars).
