Which Day of the Week are you getting married?

Just currious to see how many girls are getting married on the traditional saturday vs. other days of the week. im getting married on a friday night and i know a lot more people these days are opting for other days of the week.

Friday night. We couldn't afford a Saturday night wedding and we are SOOOO not morning people, so that was out.

I wanted a night wedding, but couldn't afford a Saturday night (too much $$$ plus they were all booked already at my hall).

Sunday afternoon. Jewish wedding so Friday night and Saturday day were out, and Saturday night the ceremony would have to start after sundown so we were afraid of having a reception that ended too late (lots of OOT people driving not really knowing where to go).

Saturday night because Friday night and Saturday day are not allowed for a Jewish wedding. I tried to do Sunday daytime at a beautiful place on the water, but some of the relatives were dead set against it because they didn't want to be getting ready early Sunday morning.

I have been to a Friday night wedding before, and it was spectacular, although I did have to take the day off from work to get there.

Sunday....it's pretty traditional: at least for the church.

It was a $75 pp price difference.

We had to do a Thursday due to FH's job (residency)... it wored out AMAZING!!! We had the typical 20% no rate (198 invited, 160 attending), no complaints from anyone, and every vendor we wanted was open! I got my first choice on everything! If you're thinking about doing it.... I'd def recommend it

Friday night....

We picked our date b/c it is my Grandparents 60th Wedding Anniversary..

It was only $5-$10 less pp for Friday vs. Saturday

thursday night and you wouldnt believe the discounts i am getting i'd take a thursday night over a saturday night any day

Saturday night - it was one of the only 'requirements' we both had.

(and it has honestly saved us soooooo much money I cant even begin to tell you! )
