I had posted two dresses in my album. They are both gorgeous! I just don't know which one to purchase. Any advice or opinions or past experiences with these type of dresses are greatly appreciated!

Re: Which dress?
Did you try them on yet? Personally I like #1 best, but it's really going to depend on what looks best on you. They're both really different styles.

Both are very different and I like them both. Depends on how they look on you and also the style of the wedding.

I love #2. They are both so different and beautiful, but I think the second is a bit more special IMHO.

Re: Which dress?
Thanks for your replies, I have tried on #1, and it has a very flattering look. #2 I have not tried on yet but I'm sure it would look flattering too! Decisions, decisions!

def. try on #2........it has a drop waist that looks like it ends at the hip almost....if you are short it may not look so nice. it may look like you are all torso.....(that was my experience with that dress...however I'm 5'1')

Me too...and you definitely need to have flat abs to pull that off which I certainly don't have! Both dresses are beautiful so you definitely have a tough decision to make! If you can pull off #2, I say go for it! By the way, the pic in your profile is hilarious

Re: Which dress?
Definately try them both on and look at them. Unless you're as small as the model, I don't think #2 will be very forgiving.

oh I like the 2nd one. It's more unique and those pull-ups are so beautiful. Plus the drop waist is just gorgeous!

Re: Which dress?
I like #1 I think it is GOREGOUS!
I LOVE #2, but the PICTURE DOES IT NO JUSTICE! I had this dress in white [be careful though, not alot of stores carry it in white, Only Burton's Bridals does] Some girls will see #2 [Maggie Sottero's 'capri marie'] and not like it, but the picture and the model, it is a horrible pic!
Here is couple pix of me in the dress to givr you more insight!!!!!

you don't need flat abs or a flat stomach to pull the dress off. Its a corset, which if you do have a little tummy, ur stomach will look FLAT! they say if ur short, it won't look too good, but I'm only 5'0 and all everyone kept saying is how stunning i looked! also, the bridal salon, after ur dress comes in, they can pick-up the 'pick-ups' even more, they did that with me, because the pick ups at first did fall very low . . . #2 #2 #2 !!!!!
Definitely definitely try on both dresses before you make a decision. I loved the capri marie from the second I saw it in the magazines. When I tried it on I almost cried - and not in a good way. I looked horrendous in it - absolutely awful. It didn't fall the way it should have, the waist was off....everything was just really not good. I ended up getting a similar dress by Allure, which fits great! The moral of the story, try everything on - things can look very different on a real person! Good luck!!
