You don't understand I am soooo frustrated. I am having such a hard time picking a florist. I have been to them all. I don't know why I am being so picky. Please HELP ME.

We are using the Port Jefferson Florist. I met with 5 florists total from large ones to small mom and pop shop types and I found that Kathy from the Pt Jeff Florist was the only one who understood what I wanted and gave me a really resonable price. I am SO happy that we chose her. Thanks to DUCKS2001 (Christine) who recommended them to me!

I am using Lynn from Florisan LLC. She is very creative and also very well priced. I am only having ceremony flowers, because i am doing my own centerpieces.

OK,
This is who I went to and what happened....
First, Flower Michele is on vacation the week of my wedding so they are out. I am disappointed about that
Went to Burtons was really $$$$$, he quoted me the highest, a few thousand +++. The guy was distracted and wasn't really paying attention to me. WEIRD!!!!
Flowers by Brian, didn't like their CP they did for me. I wasn't impressed. It looked like everyone elses and like there was no effort put into it. Also when I asked if they could work within my budget and help me because I was considering booking them, he FLAT OUT SAID 'NO'.
I can go on and on about the others..... I just want someone who is creative, nice, does good work and has reasonable prices.
I also went to LA Blossom, Pedestals, Simply Stems.

Try Designs by Rose. They are a vendor on here. They are very personable. They work out of their home but they are willing to work with your budget. If you check their site you will see some of their work. Tell them Eliana referred you and what you are looking for and that should help with the price as well.

we're using flower michele, for the same reasons. I always look at reviews- and pictures of their work proved it for me. I liked John and the price was competitive.

Did you try signature which is right by national wholesale florist I believe they are right before or right after. Leese is using them...you can FM her for details or jsut do a search...she had pictures up awhiel ago, she said they were cheaper than national.

Sorry that John from Flower Michele is on vacation. That stinks! Also Laurie from LA Blossom is awesome - but you said you already visited with her. I would check Fleurs de Florissima. I saw their flowers at an Oheka showcase and they blew me away. Very creative florist. Never met with them or read a review - just going on the look of the flowers.
I'm using Carolyn from Scarsella's. I had to pick one out of three required florists and I absolutely loved her. She just 'got' what I wanted and took it to the next step. Her sample centerpiece was amazing.

I am working w/Robert @ Pedestals & would not have worked with anyone else! He is filled w/so many ideas & is so easy to work with...he is far from pushy & will work with every budget that you give him...
