So now that I spoke with the church and our start time is confirmed, I want to get on ordering these invitations. I also have a coupon code I want to make use of so I may be ordering very soon!
This isn't the exact preview of what the layout will look like (I won't get that until after I order the invitaions and they send me the proof) but this is close enough for you to get the idea. The text will no be overlapping onto the graphic or anything when laid out properly
The first option I used the quote on top that we used on the front of our programs.
The second option, I put 'Together with our families' (or do you think it should be 'together with our parents'?). FH and I are paying for the wedding ourselves but my mom has paid for my dress and basically my entire ensemble for the day of, she's going to be paying for my shower, and FIL's are going to be hosting the RD - so I do feel like they maybe should get some kind of mention on the invite.
Or do you not like any of these options, or do you have a different suggestion of how to word it?

I like # 2.
FH and I are paying for our wedding too but have gotten lots of help with things from our parents so we put 'together with our parents' I like that better than 'together with our families' JMO

no 2 has a nicer look with the flow of lettering.
the quote first starts to make it look a tad 'busy'

Jessie - I like the redo - but just a suggestion... should it read Together with THEIR families/parents....?? i think it reads better becuase your names are in the third person as well... JMO :)

yes - thats what I was thinking. I kept flipping back to the invite but by the time I replied I forgot what the wording originally was! haha
ours reads first person but is a little different... Because you have shared in our lives with your friendship and love, we, Lisa XXXX and Richard XXXX together with our parents invite you to share the beginning of our new life together when we exchange marriage vows on DAte and time
maybe you can use that... ?? i like how yours reads though, maybe jsut change it all to the third person.
