Would be better for a wedding? Airbrush or traditional? Personally I like airbrush but I've heard a lot of girls here say that airbrushing feels weird. Which are you doing and why?

Do the airbrush, if it is done right, with a trained makeup artist & top quality makeup you will love it and will never know you have makeup on. if it is heavy and feels uncomfortable, the person is either using cheap m/u or is not applying it correct or is not trained to apply it....check references and go for a trial if you can first...

I agree airbrush all the way! If done right it looks amazing and flawless! Believe me foundation can also look cakey if the person isnt skilled.

same here.. and i have used airbrush b4 and u dont get that cakey feeling after a while of wearing it

I am having regular done by Mya at Cosmetic Artistry - it didn't feel heavy or cakey at all and it lasted all day after the trial. I think it's a combination of personal preference and the skill of the person you're working with. I wouldn't rule anything out without a trial.

Airbrush all the way. I had a trail with both applications, and the regular was way to cakey for me. Airbrush is nice and light and I felt like I had nothing on all day.

I'm using Mya as well!
Airbrushing is nice but pricey and can look over done in my opinion although trials are VERY IMPORTANT!!!

must confess, I've never had an airbrush experience.... but I'm doing traditional.... got good 'special occasion' make-up at sephora and online, and will have it applied by my friend.

Airbrush for me - LOVED it. It did not look cakey AT ALL when Mia did it on me - it just made me look like I had perfect skin, no makeup (then she applied blush/eyeshadow/lipstick etc and I obviously looked like I had my makeup done).
I prefer the airbrush because it was sooooo light. Regular foundation makes me feel like I'm wearing a mask.

i had a trial with both and personally i did not like the airbrush, it does feel a little weird and i thought it looked a little cakey and chalky

air brushing for me. I felt fine with it, but I am used to wearing a lot of makeup.

i've only had traditional done but I have to say it's been pretty comfortable to wear. I don't normally wear make-up but when Mya (from Cosmetic Artistry) did it -- it was great!

I'm doing traditional...I didn't feel cakey at my trial...but I've never done airbrush. Am I missing out?
