I think they're pretty much the same.

I had NEVER been to AC Moore until we moved further east. I'd never even heard of it. Now it's right around the corner and i'm a frequent visitor.

I don't even know where there is a Michaels out here.

Michaels because of its better variety. BUT if you are into DIYs I would encourage everyone to check Walmart for supplies first as their prices beat AC Moore and Michaels by far. (just dont say its from walmart...lol)
