Which PS2 or X Box

DH is a true GAMER, has both, but has since traded in the PS2. The PS2, although it's been out awhile, is still having manufacturing/performance issues.

PS2 DOES have a greater range of games, but XBOX has better graphics and game play all around. XBOX is geared more for adults, has a hardrive in which you can save your own music to listen to during play, and has better online play.

PS2 online never really took off.

BUT...you might want to hold off for the NEW xbox which is coming out in Nov. It's supposed to be totally amazing, comes with XBOX online account, and WIRELESS CONTROLLERS straight from the box!!!

DH told me yesterday there are 2 versions of the XBOX 360 coming out. One will be all wireless the other not, with a price difference of about $100. The wireless one will be $399 and the wired one will be $299...

DH like Gods of War, Boxing & tennis

well, GOds of War is a game made by 'Sony' for PS2...

sports games are usally the same across systems unless 'Sony/Microsoft' made it, then it would be on it's repsective system

sounds like you got a winner 'Sony'

FH is a big game person. We have everything BUT XBOX. The graphics are supposed to be better but there are only a few games worth getting. I think the PS2 has a lot more variety in the type and number of games you can get.

Us too...DH loves his PS2...I on the other hand HATE HER! That's OK though because he's so over LIW!

Both hook up out of the box with current tv's. both cost 150. both, have classic games for 20 bucks. (which is really good if you want to get a couple of games)

costco sells bundles of systems (comes with extra controller, games) and you can save 30-50 bucks )

it comes with 1 controller...if you want to play with him (or anybody else), you would need to buy another controller.
