The Woodlands Glen Cove Mansion The Metropolitan Roslyn Claremont Hotel The Royalton at Roslyn Country Club Deserverky Mansion( Ispelled that wrong)
These are all places were only one wedding takes place, and I would love a place where my wedding is the only wedding

Re: Which RH?........
I friggin' LOVED the Royalton (too expensive for us) and The Metropolitan (too small - we wanted all our guests on one floor)... Love, love, love the Met! It's got such a great Manhattan/lofty feel to it! (I'm trying to convince my bro to get married there!).
We went to DeSeversky - it's beautiful but their customer service was HORRENDOUS! We left without meeting with them. Also the bathrooms were a little outdated for my taste. Then we found out it was also too small for us.
Glen Cove Mansion used to be Harrison Conf Center - that turns me off. There will prob be business execs all over their building. It used to be very corporate.
Woodlands was beautiful - we met with a BM who is no longer there, IMO, she made the place so great!
Never been to Roslyn Claremont...

Re: Which RH?........
Also look at North Ritz Club, Crescent Beach Club, Carltun on the Sound, Lands End, Flowerfield, Carlyle on the Green, and Carltun on the Park..
You seem to be in a higher budget bracket.... These are all over $150 pp for a Sat night in peak season....
Good luck - RH shopping was the biggest PITA for us!!!!!!

The Metropolitian Club!!!!! It's a smaller venue, but it's the most lux in decor

It seems you are the only one replying to my posts, , ahahah thanks so much. I was looking to have 200 + people at my wedding. Does the Met or Deservky hold that many. I dont want to go there and waste my time if they dont fit over 200 people you know. I went to a corporate party at the Carltun and I didnt really like it. Thank you!!!

DeSeversky does not hold that many.... The Met does but your party would be split between the two floors....
Def check out Lands End and Flowerfield! They're owned by the same company - nothing but rave reviews about them on the brides review board!!!

deserversky (sp?) doesn't hold that many unless u want a 'mansion' style wedding...i believe its ppl in different rooms.
i personally almost booked the woodlands. i thought it was awesome (but a lot of it had to do with the old manager). i liked how they were very willing to customize anything and everything and they treated us so nicely all the times we went there.
the met holds that many (i think) but you have to use the second floor.
have u visited any of these places or are u just trying to get a feel for them?

I am planning of visiting them, but I want to get a feel first and some adive before I go. I kinda dont want to waste my time with RH's that dont suite me. I rather see the places that fit my needs/wants. Do you know if the the Deservesky Mansion is set up with tents or do they have a ballroom, because I know the Vanderbulit is only a tented wedding and you cant go inside or something like that.

I live in Queens, and it is in New Rochelle right. Is it worth a trip to visit?

I live in queens too, get their address and go to map quest to see exact how far away it is from you and how long it would take, shouldnt take that long

Re: Which RH?........
Well... I am biased... But honestly, we couldn't make the minimum for Glen Cove Mansion, otherwise I would've had it there. Roslyn Claremont was a basement lol... and OVERPRICED!
