I'm undecided on a veil. I want ivory to match the dress but can't decide on a length, any length.
My family loves long mantilla style of veils. I like them all so I haven't been able to decide.

Thank you all so much!!
I'm def going to try to find the veil with the ribbon edge to try. I'm not sure about what a few things are though. I don't know much about veils.
what is an illusion? What is the difference btwn a rolled edge and the flat ribbon edge?
I can't thank you guys enough for your suggestions.

the ribbon edge is wider ribbon trim, usually its more than 1/4' wide although if you get your veil made (ex: like at a place like Barrons) you can basically choose whatever you want.
A rolled edge means that the trim is more rounded and not as wide, like the picture I posted.
it's like spaghetti v. wide linguini
Edit: it's possible I was told the wrong name but the veil was described as 'rolled edge' -- some are just the edge without the trim but it's 'rolled' which makes more sense to me, but just try on a few and see what you like

I do love the pic you posted. It would match perfect. I've never heard of barrons. Just googled it. Never heard of tri-county flea market either. it's 5 mins from FH's house. i'll def check it out.
is it the kind of place i could bring my dress to to try it on or should i just purchase it and take it home to try?

i'd go with a fingertip veil so that it ends right above where the lace detailing begins on the back of the dress
I agree with Yesi, you dont want to cover that up

Re: Which veil do you think? w pics
So I think the long mantilla is def out and I am beginning to agree that a fingertip w/o trim, rolled edge fingertip or a birdcage veil would look better. Wow, thanks ladies.
Hopefully I can find some nice ones to try on. I'm going to go to tri county and check out the barrons place.

I voted for the fingertip because it compliments your dress without taking away from it. Your dress has a beautiful detail in the back.
