Which would you prefer? RE: BM Gift

If you were a BM which kind of gift would you prefer?

One high priced item, like a Tiffany Necklace, or a group of less priced items, but total the same amount? If you can explain your choice, I would appreciate it! Thanks!

Oops, I forgot to add that the other less expensive things would not be all the same, they would be different for each girl based on their likes and tastes (if I'm making any sense here??? LOL)

I'm probably gonna do one big item with a few tiny add ons to match my theme (beach - so tote, towel ). I LOVE add ons (I'm one of those people who always has some little thing on top of presents - )

But if i had to choose I would go 1 big. It will be something they see and remember your wedding.

My concern wasn't that I wanted to get them something they can wear the day of the wedding. I hope no one takes this to offense, but I just feel like a BM gift should be something just that, a gift, and not necessarily something that they will wear the day of my wedding or use for my wedding (which also benefits me as well), if I'm making any sense? Again, if someone is doing this, please don't take offense, I don't mean it in a bad way, i just wanted to really personalize the gifts for each girl, something that they really liked and will use/enjoy for long past my wedding.

Thanks everyone for your input! I knew Tiffany would be a big hit! Now just to figure what to get MOH from there, if I go with the Initial necklaces for the girls!

please, i have posted like a million times with my BM dilema, I am so confused, i wish I could spend 500 on each girl, getting the wedding stuff AND a personal gift, i am trying to figure out how to do both, not so easy. I do think I have decided on an earring, that will be great for a wedding, but also converts to a stud for everyday wear.

what do you think?

Honestly, they're not my style. I do like the idea that they convert into studs though.

I received tiffany silver earings..they were twist studs..forgot name..they were the best gift i ever recieved..we actually wore them on the big day and the bride just asked if we wear a simple silver/white gold pendent to match..like a solitaire...it looked great..and i wear them all of the time!

I'd like the necklace over a bunch of little stuff (plus it will be easier for you to go shopping).. i'd combine it where they could wear it and then use it again and always think of you!

I'm doing the starfish necklaces... how cute are they! And they have one w/ a diamond on it that I can get for my sis (MOH). Let me know if you end up getting them. Does Tiffany ever have sales???

Seriously we are totally on the same page!
there was a website that someone posted awhile ago with discount tiffany but I dont know if it is authentic....i wanna order one thing to see if it is. But they have the starfish (not the one with the diamond though) but it is def cheaper than the store but it is the authencity problem...i mean i think it is legit

Inside scoop..there are many big corporations that are offered a 15% discount from Tiffany's..so if you know anyone who works for big companies you should ask them..i had a friend who worked in bear stearns a few years back and she got discounts..it's worth checking out...

and on a final note..there is just something so classic when getting that little blue box in the blue bag as a gift!!!!! lol
