I was just looking through pictures on Facebook of a high school friend that got married and noticed that another girl we went to high school went.....and she was wearing a white dress!! How ballsy is that??? I would NEVER.
Brings me to my question: Would you be upset if someone came to your wedding wearing white???
I just feel like its not the right thing to do....its the brides day and she wears white(or some shade of it hahaha) and thats it!!!

Re: White Dress
i would say now it wouldn't bother me but i could totally feel different the day of. All I know is that I wouldn't wear white or some shade of it at another person's wedding

Re: White Dress
I think it depends on who it is. One of my cousins wives would purposefully wear white simply to p iss me off.

Re: White Dress
i think it really depends on the situation. if it is a white gown, then i'd have a problem with it. but just a dress? ehh people are just dumb lol

Re: White Dress
I have seen people do it, but I would NEVER! I honestly, try now to wear any white in my dress when i go to a wedding lol
I dont think id be upset, I would just say to myself, she looks ridiculous wearing white to someone else's wedding. and honestly, I would hope that everyone on my guestlist knows the proper etiquette... if they dont - oh well. I am determined to have fun that day and not worry about anything or let anythign get to me! its supposed to be the best day of my life!

Re: White Dress
I agree with most of you....While I would NEVER do it myself....in the end, the other person at your wedding wearing white is the one who looks like an idiot!

Yeah I dont see myself getting upset about it, its definitely not the right thing to do but at the end of the day, its your day to enjoy with DH and thats all that matters

Re: White Dress
I would think that it's pretty tasteless but what can you do at that point I would just ask the server to only give her colored drinks

Re: White Dress
YES!!! I think its so tacky.. White is reserved for the bride on her special day.. Even if the bride isn't wearing white, no one else should. I feel very stronly about this lol

Re: White Dress
Eh, it really wouldn't bother me. As long as she didn't throw on a veil and walk up the aisle, there are worse things I would worry about.

Re: White Dress
i wouldn't be upset about it. it would annoy me though, but at the end of the day, no one is going to be paying attention to her anyway. however, i do think that women who do wear white to another woman's wedding do it in poor taste. it is someone else's day, i'm sure you have more than one dress in your closet. wear a different color.

If it is a gown I WILL BE SO PISSED AND I WILL PROB TELL HER TO GO HOME N GET DRESS THE RIGHT WAY... If it is a little dress, then its ok...
