FH tells me white lies and it drives me crazy ... we're currently in a fight because of one. i can't deal with being lied to and although i know it's a small lie, i still feel like it's a lie and it's wrong.
does your FH tell you white lies? does it bother you? how do you deal with it?
ps: it's just white lies and not more than that .... no big lies, in other words.

DH does not tell me white lies, but if he did it would annoy me to no end. He does 'omit' things-like the other day we had to go somewhere and he went to get his car washed, but didn't tell me because he knew I'd say 'there's no time for that-come on'. That drives me a little nutty~but he's working on it- sorry mama

I am super sensitive about all lies. I guess being married to the world's biggest liar didn't help. My FH knows how crazy I get about any lies so he always tells me the truth about everything. I'm not always happy about what he says, and sometimes it can be hurtful, but at least he's brutally honest...which is what I need.

My FH only tells me Lies if he is going to surprise me with something... like how he proposed and when he brought me to my shower.

My FH thinks omitting something is not lying. I disagree completely and we argue over that fact a lot!!

FH does what I call 'lying through omission' and is drives me INSANE. And then he does the whole 'Nooooo I told you that....' It's always something minor but it still makes me nuts.

IMO and im not trying to upset anyone here but ANY lie is unacceptable...
Unless youre being deceptive for something such as a surprise for the person - i.e. Im not telling Bryan about the grooms cake .. but I dont think thats even a lie - just a surprise..

Ugh my FH does that too. It's one of my biggest pet peeves about him.

FH doesn't tell white lies but he likes to gossip and I hate that. If I am sitting in the kitchen with the girls he'll come and sit so he could find out what is going on

FH keeps secrets about his friends... he omits parts of stories and when I find out he'll say that 'he didnt think it was important'. And yes on occassion he lies. I think we all do. I didnt tell him I got an expensive dress yesterday bc I know he'll go crazy.

hmm, no lies here, we fought in the past over white lies due to his crazy spending on cars and bikes etc, he would lie about the price and I would find out so now i get the truth, like it or not and i cant fuss about it hahahah

Ohhh I'm so bad I white lie all the time! FH has no idea how much I shop!!! Or what I do all day (I only work 1 weekend day and 2 days during hte week)... Tee Hee what he doesn't know won't hurt him
