White or Clear?

if your using white envelopes, then i don't think it makes a difference. I just bought white ones for our STD's because they only had white return address labels & a both for the mailing address and we wanted to be consistent!

Can you print right on the envelope?

Save yourself the money and it looks great.

Ditto. I think it looks better printed on the envelope itself. But if you're set on labels, I say clear.

ITA with both points

Thank you so much everyone! We are going to print both white and clear labels. We are going to see which ones we like better. I think I'm leaning more towards the clear too. How would I print the addresses on the envelopes without labels?

I put the envelopes in my printer instead of printer paper. Use Word, go to Tools -> Letters and Mailings -> Envelopes & Labels. If you know how to mail merge with Excel, it's the best thing ever. Just put a bunch of envelopes in the printer and let it go for your entire guest list.

OMG how do you mail merge? I just manually changed all the addresses for our e-party invites, but this would be amazing if I end up doing my own invites
