I was watching too Kristin - how confusing was that?!? Reminded me of Eurotrip...

St Peter's Square is PACKED-

The Pope was elected in 4 votes - this was very fast, tied for 2nd in centuries. #1 was Pius in 1922 (3 votes)

When they DO make the annoucement, it will be in Latin. According to the news, they are currently approaching the new pope and asking if he accepts - then he'll be fitted and dressed in his new vestments (sp?) - then he will greet all of the cardinals that elected him, THEN he'll be announced, and give a first blessing.

Just found out that MSN has free live video of the doors that the new Pope is going to walk out of.. so you can watch it on your computer.
I hope he walks out before my lunch is over.. LOL
