Mine didnt come in white. Just the ivory color.
I decided to wear white because I thought the white would look nice against my tan skin in July
mine is a deep ivory... i chose it over white bc the beading standing out alot more against the ivory
I'm too fair for white... It washes me out. Ivory brings color to my skin. I think darker girls usually look better in white...

I'm a fan of Ivory!!! It looks better against my pale skin, and I can't tan or do anything that would make me tan because my skin is ultra sensitive to UV rays (like, second degree burns in 20 minutes). Ivory gives me some color, and I'm not an all-white person to begin with!!!
i dk..thats just what it came in lol...um its not bright bright white and its def not ivory....does that make any sense?

Wow alot of interesting answers. I noticed barbie said her gown only came in Ivory. Werent you looking at a few? I assume you decided on one?
Your dress is beautiful and so were you. Your right it did look white.

well before i went dress shopping i just assumed I would get white. WHen i picked out my dress and told them i want white the lady told me that maybe i should see what white looks like with the designer i picked(the sample i tried on was pastel green lol) she brought out a white dress by the same designer and it was a very stark white, against my skin it made me look pale, and was just way too bright, i was surprised. Then she brought out the ivory and its funny but if i had seen it without them telling me i would've assumed that was white lol. Not only that but she showed me similar dresses to mine in white and ivory and showed me the difference with the beading on the dress, in white the beading blended in too much, with ivory the beading stood out ALOT more and you can see the details so much better.
So bc ivory looked better against my skin, the beading stood out more and it wasnt as stark i choose ivory.
I have to say that to me it looked white lol, looking at my dress i wouldve never guessed it was ivory. But yes depends on the designer, some make ivories more darker while others make it lighter, then other designers make very stark white and some don't.

I noticed with SOME (not all) designers their Ivory looks yellow like 200 cigarettes were smoked near it.
Yours looks like white totally!

Beautiful dress! It looks white to me....![]()
mine came in all shades. however i picked cafe (see pics in wedding album). it just really worked well with my skin for some reason. would have never looked for a dress in cafe.
