Who and How much...

I was just wondering...Who do you tip on your wedding day (besides the place and all) and how much is customary? My FH and I are trying to figure out how much everything is going to cost!!!

There are several tipping threads -- I'm sure if you did a search you'd find some info. Not everyone tips the same - you should tip what you feel comfortable with or what you feel your vendors deserved. That said, this is what I tipped on my wedding day:

Maitre'd $2 - $3 pp
Bridal Attendants $50 each (I had 2)
Limo drivers (20% tip included in charge but we tipped above that) about $100
Photographers $100
Video $100
DJ $100
Florist delivery $25


All told the average tipping that goes on on a typical wedding is between $1000 - $1500 so I would plan for somewhere around that much, depending on the size of your wedding.

here is what we did.......


Limos- $20.00 each driver
Photo-$50.00 each
Video- $50.00 each
DJ-$50.00 each
Florist- $20.00 to the delivery guy
Bridal Attendents- $50.00 each
Maitre'd- $3.00-5.00 per person attending the wedding
