Not married yet... but we won't be using our RH's cake. We're meeting with Collette Folley in November. dbleplay17 used her... check out her review for pics.

Re: Who DID NOT use their RH's cake?

hi, i didnt use my halls cake..i hated the baker, she wouldnt make me what i wanted, AT ALL..i think cause tis more of a pain in the ***...i went with Rieseterers bakery in west hempstead, they are AMAZING..(theres one in garden city too)
i brought a pic of another girl on heres cake that i instantly fell in love with, thinkin it would be too expensive, and they gave me a wonderful price, and it was exactly what i wanted..
i had a red velvet cake inside with custard and fresh strawberries..everyone said it was the best cake theyve ever had, and ive given out the bakeries number 8 times since the wedding..
please clal them and speak with jennifer..you can tell her the crazy red velvet cake bride jaime sent u..she knows me, (i got my RD cake before the wedding, and also my sons birthday cake, since then lol)
pics in my album...good luck!!

p.s the bow in the pic looks yellow, but it was gold..just not to throw u off ;)

We aren't using our RH's cake either. We are using a baker in Port Jefferson village.

I didn't. I used who they referred me to. I got mine from Sweet Things on Long Beach Road in Oceanside. Spoke with Brian, co-owner. It was delicious and inexpensive. I thought it was going to be about 500 but cost less than 300.
