so many people want to come with me i wouldnt mind bringing all but is it too many? some say it should just be mom or bms or ...
who did you go with?
would 3 people be too many ? or 4?
i wouldn't mind mom, fmil, aunt and even grandma?

I went with just my mom... I honestly would never bring more than 2 people with me. Trust me, too many opinions CAN be a very bad thing.

I am just going to go with my mom and then maybe my sister too later on. I don't want to be overwelhmed with too many opinions.

i went once with FMIL and FH's best friend (i was living out of state)
i went once with a friend of mine
and I bought THE dress when I went by myself...

I had allot but I really wanted them all there. My mom my grandma my sister and two of my bridesmaids.
I really wanted my stepmom to go too, she had cancer and was not expected to make it till the wedding, she was sick that day and didn't get to go. I really wish she did b/c all she ever got to see of me in the dress was the pics from that day, she passed away about a month later.
Take whoever you feel will tell you the god awful truth but will not cause drama. HTH

one time i went with just my MOH twice i went with just my mom one time i went with my whole female bridal party (HUGE MISTAKE LOL)
most of the times I went with one of my bridesmaids... who wasn't a bridesmaid at the time but was so helpful and so supportive it didn't feel right to NOT have her.
I found her to be the most helpful b/c she was honest without being mean. She was impartial and didn't have any vision of her own of what i should look like at my wedding. her concern was finding a dress that looked good and made ME happy.
I think you can go with whoever you want, but if you realize that it's too stressful only go with people who make you 100% comfortable. Dress shopping is SUPER STRESSFUL. or it can be if you go with the wrong people.

I went with my FMIL and once with my Mom, couple times by myself. Ended up buying the dress by myself. No one has seen it yet.

The first time I went with my mom, sister (MOH) & my daughter. The second time was with mom & one of my bridesmaids. Three or four is fine!

I went only with my mom.....then when i found my dress i was alone.....but when we did BM dresses it was my mom, the girls and I and I got to try on my dress for them.

I went a few times, mostly with my mom but my two best friends and bm's came with me as well.
My mom, and 2 of my friends. And if my grandmother is up to it I would love for her to come.

The first time I went with two of my sisters and the second time I went with just one sister. I'm not a fan of being the center of attention, a big group of people would have made me uncomfortable.
i think 3 or 4 is OK.

I went with my aunt and maid of honor(my cousin) 2 was perfect they helped me ask all of the important questions

I went with my mom and my MOH. We went to one store and I found my dress!!! They both are very honest (sometimes too honest) but they both did well lol no arguing (i thought it was going to be a pain in the a$$ going with those too)

My MIL went dress shopping with me, when we found my dress it was my MIL and Aunt in law (DHs aunt) I didnt want everyone and their dog coming, I wanted my dress to be somewhat of a surprise to everyone including DH
