Re: who do you invite to the RD???
Besides DH and I and our BP with SO, we invited our parents, my grandmother, my cousins (they walked my grandmother down the aisle) with SO, godparents and family members who were doing something special for our day.

Re: who do you invite to the RD???
We are doing:
bride and groom (2) parents (3) FH's two sisters who are readers and their families (all out of state (9) my brother (no guest, he is not dating anyone) (1) MOH and husband (2) BM (no guest, he is not dating anyone) (1) minister and maybe wife (2)
We are having a wedding of 100 and no bridal party. almost half the guests are FH's sisters, spouses and kids. So twenty. FFIL and FMIL wanted to know how come so many people.... uhhhhh, hello, your daughters and their families.
I'm not even inviting my uncle from Canada (mom's only living relative) who I haven't seen in 13 years

Re: who do you invite to the RD???
We paid for our RD ourselves so we decide to keep it small. We invited our parents and siblings and our bridal party members and their spouses (if they were married).

Re: who do you invite to the RD???
we are inviting the bridal party (which includes all our siblings) and dates, parents, readers and dates, and OOT family that is here in time for the RD (I think it's only my grandfather, since most people are coming in on Friday).
Definitely the BP, parents and the readers. I am letting FH's parents decide if grandparents and guests are invited since they are paying.

Re: who do you invite to the RD???
bp and significant others both sets of parents and the readers
FIL's are paying and their are no granparents on FH's side, so i think i'm going to leave out my grandparents to keep the number down.

Re: who do you invite to the RD???
It depends on how small/large you want it to be. The list can really start to add up. We have small families and if we invited aunts/uncles/cousins, we'd be at 40+ people. My advice is just to be consistent--if you don't invite your cousins, don't invite his and vice versa.
For ours, we're inviting BP, parents, grandparents and that's it. What we might do is invite the other people (aunts/uncles/cousins/OOT guests) to join us for cocktails in the lounge in the hotel.
ETA: Oops, forgot about siblings! They're invited too!

Re: who do you invite to the RD???
bride + groom (2) parents (3) siblings and spouses (20) nieces & nephews (12) 1 reader and her husband (2) 1 bridesmaid and her guest (if any) (2) total: 41
the rest of my BP is included in all the family up there.
then whatever OOT guests RSVP yes, will be invited. Who of them will come, I don't know yet. So that's anywhere between 0-20 more. I highly doubt it will be 20, I'm expecting about 6-8.
So on the high end 55, I'm really thinking around 49.

Re: who do you invite to the RD???
We had parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, bridal party, readers and other helpers at the Mass. All were invited with a guest.
