Re: Who does half bottle wine favors and how much?

I dont know about half bottles but i know pindar and puglise do full bottles.

i forget how much pindar is but they are good bc they wrap them for you and put a label on them too.

puglise's prices are:
red table wine: case of 12 for 69.99

i think:
blush table wine: case of 12 for 69.99
white table wine: 7.99 or 8.99 each and 15% off

puglise writes the names on the top- looks pretty

Me too...we did Pugliese's Blush Table. Got five cases for under $400 and the names and date look really cute.

If you're getting married in the Hamptons, you might want to try the vineyard where I'm having my wedding, Wolffer Estate. There wines are excellent, and we're planning on doing half-bottle favors. Not sure about the prices, though.

Re: Who does half bottle wine favors and how much?

we went to duckwalk vineyards and did full bottles. if you join their 'club', you get a discount on cases (which you can mix and match what you want, they don't all have to be the same thing). We got the Windmill White and Blush, which were on the cheaper end but we still liked the flavor. It worked out to about $6/bottle or so i think. And they put a little wrapping around the bottle and will attach any tag/label you want free of charge.

Happy planning!

Re: Who does half bottle wine favors and how much?

I used to sell wine and liquor and there is a company called pommery that makes individual bottles of champagne in a small blue bottle with a straw. They are really cute. You can probably look it up online

Re: Who does half bottle wine favors and how much?

We did Wolffer half bottles (one chardonnay; one merlot) per couple and I think they came out to a total of 6.50 or 7 dollars each. They wrapped them up and attached my favor tag too.

Re: Who does half bottle wine favors and how much?

I am thinking about doing the same thing. Try a liquor store. I went to mine and they have Sutterhome half bottles for 1.50 and they come with personalized labels too. I found that to be the cheapest.

I hope this helps.

A liquor store is a great idea! Just as an FYI - the 175ml bottles of Sutter Home (and other brands) that they sell are not half bottles, they're 1/4 bottles. A half bottle is 375ml, a full bottle is 750ml. Don't let them fool you! HTH!
