Does the bride feed the groom first?... The groom feed the bride first? Or do you both feed each other at the same time?

DH fed me first... he attempted to miss my mouth but i wasnt having it... so for him even attempting it... after feeding him, i picked up extra with my finger and smeared it on his face... but got it in his eye!! LoL oopsies!!!

my mom told me that she beleives that when a groom does smoosh cake that they deep down doesnt respect his bride... i would feel bad if on my wedding day she would think that about FH...

I fed DH 1st, and he fed me 2nd - & we were both very proper in our feeding - no need to turn our wedding into an episode of Animal House...

DH fed me first. I had told him that I'd play nice if he would. Well, he didn't and he ended up with frosting up his nose.
I have never heard of there being a right or wrong way of doing this.

I think I fed DH first but I'd have to look at our photos to be certain. I know he put a GIANT piece on his fork to try to stick in my mouth, but I bit it off halfway so he couldn't smush it.
Our cake was soooooooooooooo good!!!!
