it would be even better if you attended mass every sunday
i do with my family how do you know the other girls don't ???
i never said they didnt, (like your mom) it also annoys me when people make it a 'tradition' to go to church on christmas eve, not because i dont 'get a good seat' but because people think theyre being good christians by going to church on christmas and easter but not giving one hour per week to attend mass and i just think thats wrong. either put youre all into it or dont do it at all.
JMO
i go every sunday but i still think it is beautiful when people take the time out ANY TIME and go to mass
even if they only go once a year, at least they are going once a year and i think that is beautiful too!! I bet Jesus isn't keeping score
I go to mass at 8AM on Christmas day which is so hard because FH's family opens presents at midnight on Christmas eve so after that and cleaning up I am usually up until around 4AM but its worth it. . . I only go to early mass with my parents on holidays, usually i sleep in and go at 12 but they wont wait for me LOL

Thank you Tilde if you say its fine then it means it is lol...If people go to church every sunday then I think thats great if that is what makes them happy and feel connected to god. But i also do think that there are alot of real good people in this world, who do alot of good, help others out and are spiritual in other ways and i think that if they connect to god in other ways then that is great. I mean there are ppl who can go to church every sunday and that alone won't make them a good christian.

FH and I go to Midnight Mass---neither of our families are practicing catholics, but it's our own little tradition.

I find this statement offensive. How do you know these women do not attend Mass every Saturday night or Sunday morning. The question was 'who goes to church on xmas eve/ xmas day?'
I go on XMas Eve at 4pm and then have a Christmas Eve party w/ my family.

Re: Who goes to church on xmas eve / xmas day?
if my mom is hosting christmas dinner at our house, then it's impossible to go to church christmas day because of all the chaos in the preparations.
if we don't have the dinner at our house, then we try to go to christmas morning service.
i'm not familiar with christmas eve services in the greek church, but i could also just be ignorant about that.

My parents always host xmas parties at my house and we always go to church in the morn. They wake up early to prepare, stop everything and head to church. One year, my parents had a turkey cooking while everyone was at church, lol

Re: Who goes to church on xmas eve / xmas day?
I think it's great how many people go on Xmas Eve & Xmas Day..... It would be great to see that attendance weekly, but everyone practices & reflects in their own way and at their own times.
