who got their taxes already

well we gave them in last week and today we go to pick it up and find out how much we get back. OH GOD more than any other year we need it this year, well all of us im sure need it more this year than other years. I just want to pay most of my hall NOW. They did this whole payment plan for us at the RH, so we pay every 2-3 months an installment and then 10 days before we will have about half left to give. If we get a decent amount back today then it'd go mostly towards the RH, and this way for the last 3 months i dont have to sit here and keep going to make payments.

So who has got theirs back already? Anybody effected bc of the new rebate laws? for good or bad? With the new rebate laws i dont know what to expect

there are many ways for you to get back as a small business owner. I posted last week so many tax deductions that people dont know about and many were beneficial to small business owners.

I am going Saturday.

Are we supposed to have all our Tax forms by now?

I got mine back! About 2k total, and if you an believe it, it went towards wedding rings and BM gifts.

Im confused!
You are getting your taxes back today, already?
And why didnt they tell how much you were getting back when you handed them in?

I dont know anything about new rebate laws?
But I do know we would have gotten back 4000 more if we claimed my daughter, but we couldnt due to insurance reasons! So that would have been 5000 back and would have brought us up to 2/3 of our hall being paid off
Oh well...
We are getting ours back in about a week... Only 1000

I filed mine last saturday with my account..i'm getting back sooo much more than last year i'm soooo incredibly happy..
FH is getting back more than I am..we need it

I'm hoping to bring it to our guy next week. We are PRAYING that we get back a nice chunk. last year between the two of us we got back about 2500. If we can do that again, I'd be thrilled!

last year FH got PISSED bc i got back more than he did and heres the thing: 1-he makes more money than i do 2-my taxes last year were only for 3 months bc thats how long i was at my job before taxes so what i got back was ONLY for 3 months and it was more than him. So this year hes going to my guy, i told him something was wrong bc he should be getting more back. The average single tax payer got $5k the previous year.

GOod thing is that i get taxes back from NY and NJ

I just saw my accountant yesterday.... The refund looks positve All of the new tax laws don't help me- I'm in the Alternative Min tax bracket and we get SCREWED!!

Well you should have gotten all your W-2 or 1099s or whatever your use back from your employer. By law your employer has to send them to you by last day of January. If you haven't gotten them yet I would call your HR dept.

hey went to something you needed so not bad

We got ours done last night. I am and so happy!! We got alot back!! So it's going towards our HM and the apartment.

i got mine and fh's taxes done. i have his power of attorney to do them for him since he is training etc. but the woman who did them screwed up and already filed them.

so now i had to mail all fh's tax stuff to him in japan so he can after he gets out of training go to his accountant and file a claim about fixing the taxes. See the woman at H&R Block said my Fh does not get any of his state tax $ back and he owes. But for the last 3 years in the Marine Corps he has lived out of NY state but has been getting NY State taxes taken out. So there is a specific form you can file that is titled Non Resident or Partial Resident of State. Well obviously FH is not a resident so the gov't gives him all his state taxes back. But the woman at H&R Block refused to do it and I really didnt know that she had to. So fh called her up b*tched her out and now has to file for a mistake in his taxes and do it again.

right now we are at $2300 together I only got about $1000 and Fh got $1300 but that doesnt include his state, but if all goes well with his state we should get a total combined amount of $3000.

bc i had to leave, so i dropped them off gave him info he needed and said ill come pick them up next week bc i couldn't wait we had an appointment to go to. He wasnt going to be able to do both our taxes in just a few minutes...i gave him the forms he needed so no need for me to be there

My refund this year was almost identical to last year's

YAY good for you...i told fh that he should be getting back more than he normally does so now hes anxious but thinks ill get him all excited for nothing

i think some accountants dont get back for others what they could. They dont go that extra step for extra deductions
