well we gave them in last week and today we go to pick it up and find out how much we get back. OH GOD more than any other year we need it this year, well all of us im sure need it more this year than other years. I just want to pay most of my hall NOW. They did this whole payment plan for us at the RH, so we pay every 2-3 months an installment and then 10 days before we will have about half left to give. If we get a decent amount back today then it'd go mostly towards the RH, and this way for the last 3 months i dont have to sit here and keep going to make payments.
So who has got theirs back already? Anybody effected bc of the new rebate laws? for good or bad? With the new rebate laws i dont know what to expect

I finished mine last night!!! The 1st time I went through it I actually messed up and ended up with a HUGE chunk of $ so I was happy. Then I looked it over again and realized I screwed up...not getting as much back but it's still not too bad.

FH and I are getting ours done on Monday. He should get more back than me ... last year we got about $2200 total I think ... this year I am hoping for the same. New guy though, so who knows ... mine will go towards the honeymoon that I just charged and his will go towards cc debt.

i did mine online at turbotax.com... it took like 30 minutes and i got my money no more than a week later... highly recommend that site
eta-- i love the child tax credit! i got back about $5,000 all together this year..

maybe next year ill try it out. Its too late for me now but maybe others.
Yeah i get my returns in a week too...anybody who asks for direct deposit will get it in a week no matter who you do it through or if you do it yourself.

i'm still waiting for a K-1 from one of my investments. it's driving me NUTS because I want them done.
i don't qualify for any rebates and also use turbo tax which is awesome and so easy. last year i got around $6k back and that was with only a partial year of owning my place!

those are numbers i like to see and want to see ...i get alot taken out bc from my paycheck they take out ny and nj taxes, so i get taken out more than you ladies but good part is when i get taxes back i get back from ny and nj so i get more checks back

i actually feel i waited too long hahahaha, i shouldve dont this a month ago...but i also need it for wedding things NOW
with the whole donation thing it goes by a certain amount you donate...its a bit of a high number...so not sure how much of a difference it will make. But ask your accountant. This girl who always donates was talking about this and said the amount
